Our Story

GA Architectural Group was founded in Michigan in 1983 by Albert A. Goudreau.  What started as a passion grew into a great enjoyment for architecture and personal fulfillment by providing services to the community and supporting their quality of life. Our team has consistently maintained a firm reputation for developing quality projects that are delivered on schedule and consistent with our client’s goals and objectives.  Architecture is a visual art and our team is focused on creating buildings that speak for themselves.

Qualifications / Capability…

Goudreau & Associates, Inc. Architects + Builders (GA) has consistently maintained a team reputation for developing quality projects that are delivered on schedule and are consistent with our clients goals and objectives.  Successful projects assist our clients in meeting return on investments.

Building program analysis and project development requires the input of a total planning team.  The team includes the client’s project staff, the Architect’s design team assembled specifically for the project, occasionally local advisory groups, and special consultants required for various facility types.  GA provides the diversified background and knowledge necessary to lead and coordinate this team effort with many years of experience in the development of diversity of facility types, encompassing new construction, as well as renovation.

Design Approach...

Good design is sustainable. But great design is responsible.  Design is not always defined in aesthetics but instead in the purpose that it serves.

Taking a client’s vision and transforming it into a living and working space is a great privilege.  Often times we hear stories of buildings that are beautiful in presentation, but function poorly for the occupants.  Lighting levels, temperature, acoustics, way-finding, accessibility, surfaces and textures, to name a few, are all too often compromised due to the lack of experience and understanding of the unique and specialized needs of these environments. As a team, we strive to transform communities to demonstrate how architecture can improve the lives of individuals and enhance vibrancy of space within our communities.

Creativity is intelligence having fun. Let our team create the experience with you.
